Nearing Retirement

Joanna, age 50, is married and she and her husband would like to know when they can retire.  They have $500K between their IRA’s and 401Ks.  They are unsure if their investment choices align with their risk tolerance and whether they should be doing Roth inside their 401Ks.  They also want to make the best decision as to when to turn on their Social Security benefits.

Receiving An Inheritance

Monica, age 27, received a $1M inheritance from her aunt who had permanent life insurance when she passed at age 80.  Monica has no idea where to start.  She knows that she’d like to invest the money and maximize her rate of return, while also minimizing taxes to the best of her ability.  She has heard of Roth IRA’s but is unsure if she is even eligible for a Roth or if she should do a Traditional IRA. Overall, she wants to be strategic so that she meets her future financial goals and would like to leave her nieces and nephews a large sum of money someday just like her aunt did.

Women Professionals

Kim is a sole proprietor and sells real estate.  She is earning the most money ever in her career and wants to invest as much as she can into retirement. She has heard of a Solo 401K but needs a professional to guide and choose the investments for her.  She wants to be hands off and work closely with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who will write a sound financial plan and also then closely monitor the investments and make adjustments as needed.
